Holy City Swing provides a safe and fun environment every Friday Night downtown to learn partnered swing dancing. Come in solo, or with a partner or group and you can leave with dozens of new friends and a fun new skill to break out at parties and weddings! We rotate partners in these lessons so everyone has a chance to learn and meet some new friends, whether they came solo or with friends.
Our drop in beginner lessons are designed for people who have never danced before. From your first steps through our lesson, we'll teach you to move and groove to the point that all of your friends will be jealous of your cool, new moves! You don't even need a partner to come to our lessons, and the drop in beginner lesson is included in the $10 entry price!

Can't make it on Fridays? Want to spend more time getting down the concepts and have an opportunity to learn more about this wonderful dance we call swing? Well then sign up for our Tuesday night classes!
Taken some swing classes before and not sure about talking this one? We'll be teaching six count, 8 count, swingouts, partnered Charleston, and more in these series! We'll be starting with basics each session, so if you haven't danced before this class is for you too! Additionally, you can take this class 3-4 times and learn new material every time!
No partner required to sign up! Pre-registration is required. We don't offer refunds, but you can defer to the next session of classes. Check below to see when the next session begins.

Come learn the state dance of both Carolinas! Carolina Shag is a form of swing dance that has its origins on the beaches of the Carolinas. When the jazz music went out of style in the late 40s and early 50s, the dancers at the beach kept grooving to the new stuff and transformed their Lindy Hop into what we now know as the modern Carolina Shag!
