Holy City Swing provides a safe and fun environment every Friday Night downtown to learn partnered swing dancing. Come in solo, or with a partner or group and you can leave with dozens of new friends and a fun new skill to break out at parties and weddings!
Our drop in beginner lessons are designed for people who have never danced before. From your first steps through our lesson, we'll teach you to move and groove to the point that all of your friends will be jealous of your cool, new moves! You don't even need a partner to come to our lessons, and the drop in beginner lesson is included in the $10 entry price!

Parking: We have use of the bank parking lot next door to the church, on the corner of Meeting & Wentworth St. If that is full, you can find street parking, as long as it's not permit only, or use one of the many paid parking garages or lots around the area.
Classes and Lessons
Currently, we host two drop in lessons before the social dance begins every Friday, and an intermediate series lesson for which you must pre-register.

Beginner I Intro to Swing Lesson
(Fridays 7:30-8:00pm):
This lesson is for people who have never danced swing before or may have learned it informally from friends. We will get you dancing quickly and comfortable with asking anyone in the room to dance! No partner required. We rotate partners in the lesson so everyone can practice their new moves! The cost of this lesson is included in the $10 entry fee.
Beginner II Lesson
(Fridays 7:00-7:30pm)
This is a 30 minute lesson that covers basic Lindy Hop concepts like 6-count swing, 8 count swing, and basic partnered Charleston. No partner required. We rotate partners in the lesson so everyone can practice their new moves! The cost of this lesson is included in the $10 entry fee.
